WeChat Sign Up: Registering With a Virtual Number
WeChat is one of the strictest apps to register: it needs a phone number and sometimes approval from an existing user. People sign up to work with Chinese suppliers and partners.
Without WeChat it's hard to do business in China — chats, payments and contact exchange all happen there. A Chinese (+86) number or a number from another supported country gets you through registration.
