Editorial Policy: How We Test and Update
How we pick numbers, calculate success rates and keep guides accurate.
UpdatedHow success rates are calculated
A success rate is the share of verification codes from an app that reached our free numbers over the last 7 days. It describes our public numbers, not a promise for any single number.
How we write guides
- We test sign-ups on our own numbers before we describe a fix.
- Facts about apps come from their official help centers, linked in each guide.
- When something can’t be confirmed, we say so instead of guessing.
Corrections and updates
Report an error on the contact page. We correct facts and list significant changes, with dates, in the update log. Dates change only when the content changes.
What we didn’t test
We don’t test every app and country combination, and results on your number can differ from the averages shown.
